InkFlow (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the InkFlow platform, a studio management tool for tattoo artists and studios. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our service.

Information We Collect

Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and organization details through our authentication provider (Clerk).

Studio Data: Information you enter about your studio, artists, clients, appointments, and business operations. This includes client health information collected via consent forms.

Payment Information: Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers or sensitive payment data on our servers.

Usage Data: We collect information about how you interact with the platform, including pages visited, features used, and error reports via Sentry.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the InkFlow platform
  • Process transactions and send related notifications
  • Send booking confirmations, reminders, and aftercare emails
  • Respond to your requests and provide customer support
  • Monitor and analyze usage patterns to improve the service
  • Detect, prevent, and address technical issues

Data Sharing & Third Parties

We share data with the following third-party services, each under their own privacy policies:

  • Stripe — Payment processing and connected account management
  • Clerk — Authentication, user management, and organization roles
  • Resend — Transactional email delivery
  • Cloudflare R2 — Secure file storage for reference images, consent form signatures, and session photos
  • Sentry — Error tracking and performance monitoring
  • Vercel — Application hosting and deployment

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not share client health data with anyone outside your studio.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Studio data (clients, appointments, consent forms) is retained until you delete it or close your account. Some data may be retained longer to comply with legal obligations, particularly consent form records which may have regulatory retention requirements.

Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. You can manage most of your data directly through the InkFlow dashboard. For requests we cannot fulfill through the dashboard, contact us at the address below.
